Fiona Stanley Hospital
Fiona Stanley Hospital is a landmark project for BSA, one of the largest scale mechanical services projects commenced to date. The world class medical facility is also the largest design and construct Building B, Building Y and Tunnels / Culverts to BSA in 2010.
The hospital, spanning the equivalent of four city blocks, houses a comprehensive cancer centre, medical and surgical services and extensive radiology services. The Western Australian Institute for Medical Research and a 140-bed State Rehabilitation service will also be located onsite.
The mechanical services scope for Building Y and the Central Energy Plant includes a district energy network, turn-key trigeneration system, critical to life generator and mechanical services to the central energy plant building. Building B, the Clinical Services Building, includes an air handling plant.
The project was completed in December 2013 with a service value of $140m.
